What we collect
Account basics (name, email), the neighborhood or city you choose, RSVPs and event history, newsletter preferences, and messages you send inside the app. If you submit a creator suggestion or contact form, we keep what you type in it.
How we use it
To match you with nearby microgatherings, confirm RSVPs, curate events and organizers, send the weekly neighborhood digest if you opted in, and improve how OMI plans hangouts.
Location
We use approximate location — neighborhood level — to show gatherings near you. We do not publish your precise location, and exact venue details are shared only with confirmed attendees.
Newsletter and email
You can unsubscribe from the weekly digest at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing us. Unsubscribing does not delete your OMI account.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share only what is needed with service providers that help us run OMI (hosting, email delivery, analytics), and with hosts of an event you have RSVP'd to — limited to your first name and attendance.
Your choices
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated event history by emailing tech@omiliveshopping.com. We respond to requests as promptly as we can.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and basic analytics to understand which pages and events are useful. You can block non-essential cookies in your browser.

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will note it on this page and, where appropriate, tell you by email.
